Yearbooks are built on the memories of a school year, and as the saying goes, a picture really is worth a thousand words. We are a school of over 1300 students with absolutely NO cameras for our yearbook class. For the past couple of years the only photos students could supply to the yearbook were images that they took using their phone's camera, these images are often passed over due to quality. It is my hope that with the right equipment students will take more pride and ownership of the book's creation and that we will be able to continue to build our yearbook program. With the introduction of two quality digital cameras to our class, students will be able to learn about photography in a more hands on way, they will be able to cover more event (a requirement of the class) and will be able to take more ownership of the final product.
