The EV3 Mindstorms Core Set will make a difference in my classroom. Currently, students use the NXT Mindstorms Robots in class, but these robots have been slowly failing. Students would be able to then compare the differences in the older robots versus this new EV3 model. Additionally, the software for the EV3 Mindstorms is more advanced so the NXT Mindstorms can be a stepping stone toward the more advanced EV3 Robots. The new EV3 Mindstorms Core Set will provide my students with more advanced programming and features. Students will have the ability to utilize the more advanced programming features to program the robot to do more than possible with the NXT older models.
