Our students are highly interested in learning to play the piano. Since the opening of the piano classes in our middle school, the number of students has more than tripled! While this is exciting, we now have larger class sizes and a limited number of pianos. Students have to take turns using them and can only practice for a few minutes a day, as opposed to practicing an entire class period. I'm requesting four Casio CTK portable keyboards which will be used to teach students how to play the piano. With these keyboards, students will have more hands-on practice time and will be able to progress in their studies. Increasing the number of pianos will give my students the tools needed to be successful.
