My students come from a rural area and all qualify for free breakfast and lunch each day. Our school district continues this free breakfast and lunch even throughout our summer, ensuring that our students receive substantial meals throughout their summer vacation. Many of my students face hardships each day that adults would not be able to fathom them experiencing at such a young age. Despite the many challenges they face, my students understand that their dedication and hard work at school directly affects the potential for their successful futures. Each student in my class offers a unique personality to our classroom culture which allows us to explore our learning topics in many different venues.
