With these soccer goals, not only will our students be able to play with them during their PE classes, they will also be available for them to use before school, during their lunchtime and after school. This gives them the opportunity to have more physical activity and will help them to achieve a higher level of physical fitness. Studies have shown that students who are more physically active and have a higher level of fitness are able to perform better in their academic classes and have higher test scores. They are able to concentrate and focus on their other subjects as the physical activity helps to activate and "wake up" their brain during exercise. These soccer goals will also be used by community and school teams for practices giving additional students from other schools the chance to increase their physical activity in after school programs. Our community has a large population of people who enjoy playing soccer and this will give more players and coaches a place to practice for their teams.
