The current table my students will use for this school year is not conducive to helping us reach our goals of ensuring everyone becomes a better reader. The table we have chosen allows for each student to have their own individual space as well as encourages small group collaboration and instruction. Another feature I really liked about this particular table is that it also serves as a white board service which is perfect for my students when we are using the boards individually or collectively. The chairs we selected would be more comfortable than our current chairs. Struggling readers need to be as comfortable as possible. Our current chairs are not adjustable.
