My classroom has 4 iPads for student use. At present, we are storing these in a desk drawer, and have to find space around the room to charge these devices. These devices are used to supplement learning for the students by giving them added practice on needed skills. The devices are also used for communication for the non-verbal students. The TechTub2 will solve both of these issues as there will be a central location for both storage and charging. The TechTub2 can be locked which will increase the safety of these devices in the classroom, and will allow for nightly charging of all devices.
