A new carpet in my classroom will enhance students learning by giving them an inviting space to engage in a multitude of activities. Our carpet is used throughout the day beginning with the students engaging in independent reading when they arrive at school. The rug that I have requested allows for each student to have their own personal spot so that they can be better engaged during instruction. This rug will not only be an asset in my classroom this year, but it will also benefit​ future students. It is an investment that will provide students a space to interact with each other and to engage in many different learning opportunities.
