Thoughout my past 4 years teaching at my school, I have realized my students do not have a strong sense of responsibility when it comes to pets and animals. Being very passionate about animals myself, this is something I think is so important for young children to be exposed to. I would love a classroom incubator to be able to hatch chicks and ducklings with my students. I believe the experience of hatching and taking care of chicks will instill a responsibility and love for animals in my students. Not having the opportunity for things like this at home, I think this will ultimately have a positive effect on them for years to come!

About my class
