Our science standards heavily rely on the students' understanding of life cycles of plants, what makes plants grow, and what different elements they can contain. This Aerogarden will help us bring the outdoors into our classroom so we can grow plants all year round! Students will have the opportunity to have a small garden in their own classroom! We will plant the seeds together and watch the plants grow until they produce fruit. Students will gain knowledge in both life cycles and the responsibility of taking care of their own garden. My favorite part of having an Aerogarden in our classroom will be giving the students a opportunity to become a team and be proud of the plants they have produced together!
