Flexible seating (Flex-Space Wobble Cushion, Wobble Chairs, Flex Bands, and stools) will provide my students with a different options besides the traditional desk and chair. Flexible seating will help my students who have difficulty maintaining attention by allowing them to move and change seating to help them maintain focus. Flexible seating can also help eliminate behavior issues that may arise. Students spend so much time in the classroom and by providing them with flexible seating I will be able to make learning more fun, engaging, and comfortable for students. By providing flexible seating, my students will be able to chose a seat that they feel will allow them to maintain focus and complete a given task. Classroom resources is also very for special education students. Items such as calculators help provide accommodations necessary for students with learning disabilities access curriculum like their peers.
