When we gather in our classroom meeting area for our morning meeting, mini-lessons, or group work time my students currently have to sit on the floor. A classroom rug and comfy floor seats will provide an area for students to sit comfortably during mini-lessons and collaborative activities. Providing a cozy place for students to work, read, and collaborate are key to a successful learning experience. Students respond to their environment in many ways. A classroom that provides multiple spaces for learning will encourage the success of students of all learning styles. Students will comfortably be able to choose the best space to work and learn.
