Students must have hands-on "concrete" learning experiences in order to get the foundation needed for reading success. By providing these activities, you will help students practice the hands-on skills they need so desperately for becoming readers. These hands on phonemic awareness, phonics, reading and writing center activities will help my students have those experiences as well as enable them to work cooperatively with other students in centers. These beginning readers will be able to build confidence and cooperation skills by using these folder games time and time again to reinforce skills that are essential to becoming confident, successful, readers. Thank you very much!
