With the uniqueness of our school year, having Kindles will provide great access to our class. Unfortunately, students are going to work independently during center time with no sharing of materials. In my many years of teaching, I have found all students love working with technology. Even students that have a hard time staying focused with paper and pencil can maintain better focus while working using technology. Students don't realize they are actually learning while playing "games" on their devices. Scholastic Science Spin is a great way to get on-level reading material into the hands of my students. Many of my students do not have reading material in their homes. The articles are always relevant and engaging for my students. We use the magazines to identify sight words, make predictions as well as learn about science. Thank you for considering ways to help make learning exciting and fun for my students.
