I am fortunate to have the opportunity to teach students from varying ethnic backgrounds. Each student comes into our classroom with their own story and from many different cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds. Many have never read a newspaper or gone to the zoo. They are young, innocent, curious, and enthusiastic students. They come prepared for the journey we as educators try daily to provide. And... they deserve everything we can give them.
