With the pressure of meeting academic standards, children lose valuable time to explore their curious, creative and colorful minds. Having these basic art and sensory supplies, students will be able to express their emotions, explore their creativity and let their imagination run wild. Imagine what they can create with having accessible supplies? When supporting social and emotional needs, play doh and kinetic sand can be a useful tool in soothing students who are upset, stressed or simply have sensory needs. My vision for this project is to bring back more art and creativity into the classrooms and let children explore freely without any teacher direction.
