My students need up to date literacy materials, such as the spelling puzzles, as the focus in our classroom is literacy and getting my students excited to read. The books with cd's included will help students to explore a new way to experience a book. They also can use updated learning center materials. At their age, they learn the best through activity and hands on items. My students can benefit greatly by any of the items. I also asked for some sensory items that will go in a special area when a student may need to take a brain break when they become overwhelmed. This area will allow them to self calm and refocus on the activities ahead.
