“We do not have to become heroes overnight. Just a step at a time, meeting each thing that comes up…discovering we have the strength to stare it down.” – Eleanor Roosevelt. This quote is the foundation on which I built this project. I so often get students who are labeled because they aren't the "perfect" student and struggle to meet the standard of being the "perfect" student. I realized that the obstacles that my particular students face present a greater challenge at meeting that goal compared to their peers. So, I've chosen to help my students become the "superhero" or "perfect student" by helping them tackle those challenges! Everything in my cart will be used as a constant reminder to my students that you can overcome anything presented to you and that you are still a superhero no matter what!
