I have a student who is legally blind in one eye and has lost total vision in the other eye. Giving her printed materials does not allow her to participate in video enhanced lessons, working through math problems, or observe science demonstrations. By placing a monitor at her desk, she can see everything on the SmartBoard and feel more connected with the class. I was so impressed by the determination and drive of this student that I bought - from my pocket - a classroom set of this equipment for her use in my science class. I would like to see her have this advantage in each of her classes, so I am asking for help to fund this equipment for her other classes. This kid is worth your help. Thank you in advance!
