With this being my first year teaching first grade, my classroom library has been very limited. I know the more opportunities students have to explore their interests in a book, the more excited they will be to continue to develop their reading skills and develop a lifelong love for reading. Each week we explore a big book together and having an easel to display our book each week would help to make it easier for all students to see and allow them to come back and explore the story later. Due to remote learning and having our school library closed, I am finding it hard for students to get their hands on books both in the classroom and at home. I would love to be able to display the books on the bookshelf I have included to help catch their interest. Thank you for supporting my students and helping them to have more opportunities to read.
