In our room the read aloud is our favorite time of day! These stories transform our learning and help foster our tight knit classroom community. Because this is such an important time of day I would like to ensure that the books in my class are representative, joyful, promote love and empathy, and celebrate differences. I have carefully and intentionally selected children's books that that my students will love, feel seen in, and teach them to be world citizens. I have also added individual white boards to this project so that my students can learn to write and share their stories, safely. Please help me create a more representative classroom library and provide individual materials to keep my future leaders safe!
