Reading opens doors and creates individual adventures. These resources will benefit my students immensely. Our reading curriculum focuses on students' ability to grapple with complex texts. I can visualize my students reading, responding to text dependent questions and having accountable discourse about the texts. The carpets will create an environment that will spur interests and discovery in reading. Our comfy cushions will attract and inspire my students to utilize the resources. It will provide a haven where they can comfortably explore, peruse, enjoy and derive the benefits of reading. I know that my students will enjoy the reading area and maximize their opportunities for growth.
