As second graders, these children are eager to begin their lifelong adventure by reading a book all on their own. Their hope is to gain from the generosity of the donor's choose organization and gravitate towards books provided to them that they will both enjoy and revel in. Books are the beginning for them. Learning letters, as a first step taught them that letters are essential to language, but a book is a canvas where the author, being the artist, shares a dream, a thought, a lesson, or even a little hope that my student's dare to become enthralled in. Stories are history's way of sharing essential information of past experiences for the benefit of future endeavors.
