Striving for EXCELlence at all levels! I teach high school history to "at-risk" students. They are considered "at-risk" for all the obvious reasons: low income, low test scores, a community ridden with drugs, gangs and violence, foster care, group homes and whatever other stereotype can be made about the westside of Chicago. These students are only "at-risk" because they have bought into the stereotypes that surround the neighborhood and now its time to break them!

About my class
