My school is located in Texas where we were hit by Hurricane Harvey and unfortunately my classroom received water damage. Even though it has been a year since the hurricane the effects are still evident everyday, but my students still come to school eager and ready to learn. My students are in need of a classroom rug that will provide a special place for them to sit during calendar time, shared reading, and whole group lessons. The rug will serve as a meeting place for my students and give them their own space which will lead to more focused and engaged learners.
