Visual spatial reasoning is an area of struggle for so many people. How many times have you heard someone say "I hear what you are saying but I need to see it"? Experiencing something creates the best type of learning. When a student is able to draw a polygon onto a whiteboard with dry erase markers and then rotate the board 180 degrees, all of a sudden the geometry becomes tangible and obvious. These coordinate plane whiteboards will allow the math to come alive for students who would otherwise feel lost and confused. Please help my students bridge the gap between the abstract and the concrete.
