Students in the seventh grade have a difficult time as they branch into the junior high. One way I can make things easier on my students is with the idea of flexible seating! Many companies are offering this to their employees as it promotes productivity. I am hoping to purchase four bean bags chairs to continue my use of flexible seating within my classroom. This exploration opportunity will help my students realize their potential as they determine how they learn best. Many students have difficulty sitting on a hard desk chair for the long classroom blocks. Flexible seating promotes student ownership within the classroom and increases student engagement.
