We have been working on a Book Club in our class, and I have been adding new sets of chapter books to keep my class engaged and develop their love of reading. A Book Club is an activity where students get to pick a chapter book and complete activities with their peers, to share what they have read learned and read about. I have leveraged the Scholastic book club points, book fair donations and personal purchases as much as possible. I found another book that I really want to add as a Book Club option, but it is (relatively) expensive (about $14 a copy - and not available in paperback). The book is called Pax, by Sarah Pennypacker. I need at least 6 copies to make it work in a small group - or 12 copies to make it work in 2 small groups. I'm requesting 12 copies, but any donation toward the cost is welcome. Thank you for your support!
