Materials included in this Donors Choose, like a utility cart, coffee grinder, coffee flavorings...etc will go toward pioneering "The Pioneer Perk", a coffee cart that will serve faculty and staff at our high school. This coffee cart business will be run by students with differences in physical, communicative, and intellectual abilities. The coffee cart will serve locally roasted coffee. The Pioneer Perk exists to empower students with disabilities to put their abilities on display, for students to learn and master skills that are essential for their transition into adulthood, and to use a conversation and a cup of coffee to unify a school full of diversity.
