Students will be able to safely and easily move these compact, comfy floor seats to various customized learning opportunities throughout their classroom. This flexible seating option will allow students to easily move their seat closer to learning materials, other children, or the facilitator in the classroom depending on the task and the level of support they need for the specific learning activity. For example, when students are engaged in writing and word activities, they will be able to quickly move this light weight seat to the writing center, filled with inspirational books, posters, paper, movable letters, pens, markers, word banks, and Chromebooks. It will also allow the students to easily place their seats together in small strategy groups to maximize their own and one another's learning through talking, listening, reading, writing, and reflecting together. When students work in cooperative learning teams, they are exposed to new perspectives that may be new or contrary to their own in order to plan, engage, and tackle the learning tasks that are prepared for them.
