This class set of headphones will allow each student to focus on independent computer sessions and minimize disruptions to their neighbors and classmates by listening to only their computer. Currently, we have no headphones, so when we are using our laptops for educational purposes, activities and content are broadcast for all to hear, which results in a decreased focus on individual learning. A classroom free of disruption will help lead my students toward being more successful and productive as they further explore science and technology. Specifically, the headphones will be used when students are engaged in centers, labs or activities to increase reading comprehension and content knowledge in science by meeting their needs based on their individual learning style.
