As the volleyball and basketball coach, it is my responsibility to teach my girls the skills of the game and prepare them to compete safely and to the best of their ability. Many girls try out for the team, never having any playing experience, other than what they learned in physical education class. I try to teach them the skills to be successful while at our school, as well as the confidence to continue their athletic careers in high school and beyond. I started the volleyball and basketball programs at the school 4 years ago and have very limited equipment available. I want the girls to be the best they can be, therefore, I am asking for the equipment to do that. The girls require knee pads in order to compete safely, practice jerseys to organize teams, and equipment to help them learn and practice skills. We are also in need of volleyballs and basketballs that consistently hold air, as well as an air pump..
