I picked out instruments for this project that allows the classroom to have fully stocked reeds, instrument care products, and instrument repair products. With instruments that are constantly falling apart and are difficult to use, supplying the school with the three different repair and care kits geared towards specific instruments provides the teacher the ability to repair the instruments cost-free. Further, it is important to have fully stocked reeds to provide reeds for beginning students. It also provides an environment where it is ok to make a mistake. Band instruments are expensive to clean and repair, therefore I have chosen to make a project where the school's limited music fund can be placed towards buying methods books and purchasing music that is relevant and educational.
