"85% of jobs that will exist in 2030 haven't been created yet" (Tencer). Technology jobs are the future, and my vision is to prepare my students to be technologically literate through access and use of educational apps, websites, and tools available on the iPad. Many of my students do not have access to personal technological advances at home, while others do. In order to promote Equity, I aim to provide access to technology for all of my students in class to experience engaging math games, reading opportunities at their level, and even code! We will use these iPads during math and literacy centers for high interest, student-driven, individualized learning- as well as with partners to encourage cooperation and teamwork through coding. My students are the future generation of mathematicians, humanitarians, scientists, nurses, computer engineers, etc. and these iPads will ready them with the technological experience to think creatively about tech of the future, and have fun doing it!
