The tablets will give my scholars 21st century access to reading, encourage exploration, and expose a love of reading that exist in all of us. Moving from paperback books that get dog-eared and damaged to a device that provides access to any title/book that my students are interested in. With the tablets, my students will be "fired up" and ready to go this school year. The Kindle Fire tablets will make the technological connections my students have to the numerous device they use to the academic content I place in front of them. Thus, they begin learning without even knowing that they are doing it, because they are having fun.
