Our Kindergarten classroom library is very limited. My Kinders need books that they will be able to relate to and enjoy learning from. I have requested titles such as "Because Amelia Smiled" to engage my students and encourage them to be kind to others, especially since just like them many others are brand new to school. "Monsters love school", "David goes to school", to engage them and make learning school rules fun and understandable. There is a whole lot of things in this world that I need to get my kinders wondering about. Through the titles I have chosen my kinders will begin wondering, asking questions, and creating their own ideas! Our future leaders are in my classroom, through books and practices they will be kind and strong leaders.
