Students come to school every day and sit in the same old desks and same old chairs. As an adult learner, I have a hard time sitting for long periods of time. My students are the same way. Sometimes when students stand, it helps with concentration and engagement. Standing desks will allow students the flexibility to move to standing when they get tired or restless when sitting. This choice helps students be comfortable to learn. Available stools will allow leaning or sitting and dangling their feet when using these standing desks as another option. Each desk and stool was chosen to promote comfort and flexibility to enhance learning.
