My project centers on the premise that we all tend to gravitate towards reading material that we know the best, whether that might be historical fiction, fantasy, graphic novels, the newspaper, etc. In light of COVID-19 and students spending several days learning from home, I want to capitalize on having them back in the classroom to expose students to all kinds of genres, with the idea of expanding their ideas of reading, as well as hopefully the benefit of seeing themselves in some of these diverse books.
