To say my school is anything short of amazing is an understatement. Many of our diverse population of students come from a low socioeconomic background. Although they have so much going on in their personal lives, my students are so respectful, caring, and passionate and compassionate once you find something that truly speaks to them. Helping them find that passion is why I love teaching! My classroom is my second home. I work hard to have my classroom be a safe place for all of my kids. I spend most of my days in my Science room so I try to make it warm and inviting. I hope my students feel the love and passion I have for Science and teaching from the moment they step into my class. I try to stay relevant with my students by hanging up artwork, posters, quotes and random decor that we all find interesting. My students can bring in things to my classroom... we build our class together.
