These materials will help set students up to be as successful as they can be to reach higher levels of achievement. Having books and stories that have characters who resemble the students I work with is imperative to their learning. These tools will allow students to have a safe space to work on their emotions or whatever maybe happening in their lives at the time. The bean bags will offer a relaxing soft place for them to get comfortable. Often times students have a lot on their mind that prevents them from learning. Sometimes students have gone through something the night before at home or in school with a friend or a teacher. At times, students just need a space to chill and breathe and that's okay! Sometimes they need a place to rest and close their eyes! The soft beanbags will give them the space to do this! Students work so hard. They deserve great things. The giant sand timers are a great visual for students to know how much time they have in the space. They deserve to have books that relate to them. They deserve to have tools that can help them succeed. I love therapeutic question balls! They give students a chance to start out of the box conversations! Teaching social skills is a big part of my job! These balls will help my students communicate and find out exciting things about their classmates. I appreciate each and everyone of you who chose to donate! Thank you!
