Paint, brushes and more will allow my students to express themselves with different types of art mediums and give them a chance to discover art materials they may not get the chance to use at home. Some students have not been exposed to anything other than typical drawing materials such as crayons, markers, etc. These materials will help me be able to teach students about the color wheel, color mixing, texture, and simple drawing techniques. The sketchbooks will be a great way to incorporate writing and global awareness into the art room as well. Most importantly, it will allow my students to enjoy art and have fun!
