The focus of these items are to make the classroom bright, inviting, and exciting for the students. These items will help them organize and better utilize the classroom and its various resources. My goal is to have them enter the room and be excited to investigate and utilize the library. Color coding the library will allow for them to easily explore and access their interests and reading levels. We will also color code and organize the many math manipulatives so that they will be able to utilize them more efficiently. Teaching my students to organize their work and thoughts are a focus for our classroom. It is quite an accomplishment. We will use some of the other items on the list to help organize our writing and reading groups. Students will have everything at their fingertips allowing them to focus in on assignments and projects. Focusing in on the learning environment and making it colorful and inviting will help motivate my students and allow for them to get excited about learning and growing!
