Our “classroom” has expanded across our city. We no longer see or hear each other in the same building. Our class now is through a device, an iPad. We communicate often through Zoom meetings. My students and I are constantly recording ourselves to explain our thinking in our daily activities. A Mac desktop computer will allow me to provide a better way to communicate with my students during our remote learning this fall. This desktop will allow me to communicate easier for video conferences. It will definitely help in lesson planning. Everyday, we as teachers have to be filling out paperwork documentation. This computer will allow my students to do research in many areas as soon as we go back to our classroom. They will apply their science and math skills to create 3D objects with our class 3D printer. They will create out of their own imagination which is a skill they need to become career and college ready. Your kind donation will really help out during this harsh time we all are going through.
