My students will have access to a world of digital books and articles with these requested Fire HD tablets in the classroom. They will also have the ability to independently check their comprehension and typewritten responses to their reading. These skills will aid my student in self-monitoring their reading as well as take control of their learning. Using digital print sources are necessary in today’s world. Having all day access to the Fire tablets will give my students the opportunity to read and assess themselves whenever they want and will keep my students in the classroom instead of waiting to use library computers that are often in use.
