To keep all of my students engaged in the classroom, dry erase boards and markers will allow each student to participate and practice solving math problems. Using dry erase boards cut back on the waste of paper for just a few problems or a quick check to see if they understand the standard. Not only would the boards be utilized in my small group, but I can incorporate it in whole group time as well. If we are reviewing for a quiz or test we can play beat the clock or see what group writes down their answer the fastest. There's so many different ways that I can use these white boards and I can use them in the future as well! The cushions for flexible seating options will help students be able to move around the classroom and find comfortable places to learn and work.
