I became a teacher because I had the most amazing fourth grade teacher. She provided us with so many opportunities to see ourselves in a book. Many of my students have never read a book all the way through. They read when they are asked to read but not for pleasure. My students need the chance to get lost in a book. This class set would provide my students a chance to get lost in a book and to see themselves in a book. It may open doors they never saw as a possibility. They may learn they love to read. Please help me give my students a chance to love the beauty of written word.
