Flexible seating allows children to optimize their learning and creative thinking. In today's classroom, distractions are everywhere and it's difficult for students to focus. I observe my students carefully, and sitting still in a desk all day is not beneficial for everyone. Currently, my students often choose to sit on the floor or stand at the counter to be more comfortable during activities. Students have shown to me more productive and creative when given the choice of a new work space. The products I have chosen can help even my most anxious or attentive students increase their work production and improve the demeanor. The stools I have chosen will allow students to work at a table or with a lap desk. This will allow them more freedom to move and not be confined by their chair attached desk. The bungee chairs are fun and a new dynamic way to allow students to wiggle without disturbing their peers. They can also be easily stored and moved to wherever learning happens. The fidget bands and toys are simple and discreet that will aide any student who feels the need for a calming tool to help them focus on any task. I have seen the positive effect these tools can have with students with the simple act of giving them choice seating and ways the calm down, their work production and attitude shoot through the roof.
