We use a blended learning and rotation model for instruction. Therefore, throughout the day students rotate through station activities and small group instruction with the teacher. We need a kidney-shaped table for small group guided reading and guided math instruction. The kidney-shaped table would be at the appropriate height for first-grade students and give students enough space to work collaboratively with the teacher. We need a markerboard activity table for one of our stations so that students can work through math problems and practice writing sight words in a defined space. With these pieces of furniture, students will be able to have comfortable furniture and spaces to learn and grow.
