As the years go on, the teachers at our school grow and explore different titles to study with our students. Although we wish we could teach all the novels in class seminars, we know that getting as many of these treasured titles in their hands will be invaluable. Embracing modern and classic literature, with perspectives from across the globe, we have developed a guided, independent reading program that aims to broaden students' horizons. Students at our school encounter numerous obstacles from finance, transportation, and for many time. We love that our students want to overcome these obstacles, and want to do everything we can to get these books into the classroom. Having them on the shelf in their English class can remove a barrier between a student and the new world that awaits in the novel.
