Through the use of the tablets in our classroom, my students will have access to amazing online resources that will allow them to work at their own pace and make connections with the content they are learning to the world around them. We will use these tablets during math lessons to engage in small group intervention systems to tutor my students on their appropriate levels and also work on real world unit projects such as financial literacy, geometry, probability and so much more. My students will also have access to the tablets in my differentiated after-school and weekend tutorials, where groups come to master their basic skills that are foundational for math, or work on higher level extension materials that have a literacy focus. Additionally, a huge focus area of my curriculum and content delivery this school-year is to allow opportunities for my students to see the relevance and importance of math in their lives. These tablets will allow us to have access to many online resources for my students to conduct their own research for projects, while at the same time, provide my students with the tools and resources necessary to access a wide range of math programs for their level.
